Micromax sells 15,000 Yureka units in 4 seconds, says bigger sale coming soon

Micromax yet again sold a truckload of Yu Yureka phones on Amazon.In in its third flash sale on Thursday. The company said that on Thursday it sold 15,000 units of Yu Yureka in 4 seconds.

The next sale will be on the next Thursday. To participate in it people who want to buy the phone will have to register for the sale. Even if you had registered earlier, you would have to register for the new sale again. The registration process would open in evening today.

Micromax said that it was working hard to improve supply on the Yureka. It is possible that more than 15,000 will go on sale next Thursday so for now there is no definite number.

As usual, the sale invited mixed reactions. Consumers who were able to snag the phone gloated about it on Twitter. One such customer tweeted, "@YUplaygod @amazonIN @CyanogenInc wooooo !!! finally order placed successfully in 4th sale after a long wait of aprox 1 mnth :)".

However, not everyone was this happy. Punit Tripathi, who apparently tried to buy the phone but failed, tweeted, " @YUplaygod dont be proud of it, I wanted to buy the phone but could not, now it pi**ed me off, YU and Amazon lost one customer."

For its price the Yureka is a pretty much amazing phone. It packs in powerful hardware and good functional software. That makes it very appealing and that is the reason why there is a lot of demand for it. In the market, it competes against the Xiaomi RedMi Note 4G, which too is an incredible value at its current prices. The RedMi Note 4G is also sold in flash sales though in select Indian cities it can also be purchased from a few Airtel stores.
