
Microsoft, at a press conference in New Delhi on Monday, announced the launch of the Lumia 630. The phone was unveiled at the BUILD 2014 Conference last month and will be available in both - single SIM and dual SIM variants in India.
The Lumia 630 runs on Windows Phone 8.1. This is the first Lumia device to have a dual SIM card slot. It has a 4.5-inch ClearBlack FWVGA (854 x 482 pixel) display. It is powered by a Snapdragon 400 quad-core chipset clocked at 1.2GHz.
The Lumia 630 has 512 MB of RAM, 8GB internal storage and up to 128GB expandable memory card slot. It also has a 5 MP rear camera with auto focus and burst mode. It also has features such as Microsoft Office, Nokia Camera, free Nokia MixRadio streaming, etc.
The new smartphone has a polycarbonate body with multi-coloured replaceable back panels. It packs in a 1,830mAh battery.
The single-SIM variant of Lumia 630 is priced at Rs 10,500 and the dual-SIM variant is priced at Rs 11,500. Both the devices will be available from May 14.
