Nokia will release a software update early next year to enable some Lumia 800 phones access their full capacity.

Some customers had commented in social media platforms that the preloaded diagnostics tool in some of the Nokia Lumia 800 phones was showing lower battery capacity than expected. Following this, Nokia said that the battery is fine in some variants but a software problem is preventing some units of the Nokia Lumia 800 from accessing the full battery capacity.

Nokia, which has recently launched its Lumia range of phones in India, said the software glitch would not have any major impact in the country.
