All about Nokia's new tablet Lumia 2520, phablets Lumia 1520 and 1320

While the Lumia 2520 tablet features a 10.1-inch HD display and a 6.7 MP camera, the Lumia 1520 phablet has a 20MP PureView camera.

Nokia has finally unveiled its first Window's tablet along with two phablets at Nokia World in Abu Dhabi on October 22. The company also used the event to announce six new devices as well as accessories and applications.

According to a press release, the Lumia 2520 tablet features a 10.1-inch HD display along with a 6.7 MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics. Running on Windows RT 8.1, it has got both 4G LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity. It will also have some additional software including interactive games and apps. The tablet can be paired with the Nokia Power Keyboard that can offer up to five extra hours of battery life and two built-in USB ports.  It will be available in glossy finish done in red and white and matte finish in cyan and black and will be available to ship in Q4 2013 with an estimated price of $499.

Nokia has also entered into the six-inch phablet space with the Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1320. The press note says the Lumia 1520 will have a 20MP PureView camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and be powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM. On the other hand, the Lumia 1320 will have a 5MP camera and will be powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core processor with 1GB RAM.

The company has also introduced three new Asha devices, the Asha 500, 502 and 503. The Nokia Asha 500 features a 2.8-inch display, 2 MP camera and a single SIM tray and easy Swap Dual SIM variants. The Asha 502 will have a three-inch screen, a 5MP camera with LED flash and Easy Swap Dual-SIM. The Asha 503 is 3.5G enabled with a three-inch display, 5 MP camera with LED flash and Corning Gorilla Glass 2. It will come in a single SIM and Easy Swap Dual SIM variants.

"Now more than ever, mobile devices are at the center of consumers' lives as they look to capture, curate and share experiences on the go," the press note quoted Stephen Elop, Executive Vice President, Devices & Services at Nokia.
