My first role model: Mohanananda Brahmachari. He taught me about the way life should be, the way you should conduct yourself and, most importantly, the way you should behave with others
My first job: Engineering Projects India. I got to work on a project in Iraq, which was different from what it is today. It was a very beautiful country
My first boss: My first boss was my subordinate. I reported to him as part of my training
My first promotion: On my return from Iraq, I joined RITES in 1984. I came back to India amidst fears of a war in Iraq and subsequently got a new job in India. I take it as a promotion because it gave me a new challenge
My first disappointment: I am an eternal optimist. I have never been disappointed in life
