
Aamir Khan-starrer PK has collected Rs 92.50 crore at the box office within three days of its release.
According to Boxofficeindia.com, the Raj Kumar Hirani-directed movie grossed Rs 26 crore net on Friday, Rs 29.50 crore on Saturday and Rs 37 crore on Sunday.
The film also stars Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani, Saurabh Shukla, and Sanjay Dutt in supporting roles.
Trade analysts at Boxofficeindia.com said multiplexes are driving the business for the movie with multiplex-to-single screen ratio being much higher when compared to other big blockbusters.
"If the trend continues, the movie will be the largest-ever blockbuster in Bollywood," they said.
PK is produced by Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Siddharth Roy Kapur, and written by Hirani and Abhijat Joshi.
