PK box office collection rises to Rs 276 crore, beats Dhoom 2 in second week

Aamir Khan starrer PK has collected Rs 94.50 crore during the second week, taking its business to Rs 276 crore in 14 days.

The second-week business was around Rs 30 crore higher than that of the previous record holder Dhoom 2, according to boxoffice india.com.

The movie looks set to cross the Rs 300-crore mark in its third week, with no movies with big starcast releasing today.

Vinod Chopra Films and Rajkumar Hirani Films, in association with Disney India, released 'PK' on December 19.

Featuring Khan as an alien, the film takes a hard hitting swipe at organised religion, god and godmen, "stirring thought and discussion".

The film also stars Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjay Dutt.
