PM Narendra Modi to reshuffle Cabinet on Sunday

A reshuffle of the Union Council of Ministers will take place at 1:00 pm on Sunday (November 9), official sources said.

This will be Prime Minister Narendra Modi's first expansion and reshuffle of his ministry since he assumed power in May after the general elections.

The strength of the ministry now stands at 25, with 23 ministers at the Cabinet level, including the prime minister, and 22 holding Minister of State rank. Currently, 10 Ministers of State hold independent charge of their ministries.
