Samsung Galaxy S III sales have surpassed
the 10 million mark in less than two months of its launch, South Korean new agency Yonhap said, citing a senior executive of Samsung.
Samsung Galaxy S III was
first unveiled on May 29 in London.
The report said that the predecessor of Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy S II, took nearly five months to reach the 10 million sales figure after its launch.
Samsung Galaxy S III sales are expected to remain strong in the third quarter as well, as Apple is expected not to launch its next version of iPhone until September or October.
For the full year, Samsung Galaxy S III sales are expected in the region of around 40 million units, the report said.
