Sony has launched its new flagship smartphone, the Xperia Z2 in India. At Rs 49,990, the device gives competition to the HTC One M8 and Samsung Galaxy S5.
The Xperia Z2 will be available in the market starting May 12. Sony is aggressive and has launched a few offers on the purchase of the Xperia Z2 that makes it a sweet deal.
As a limited period offer, Sony is offering its SmartBand (SWR10) priced at Rs 5,999 free with the purchase of the Xperia Z2. This SmartBand is a fitness band that pairs with the phone over Bluetooth 4.0 and keeps a track of fitness activities, sleep and multimedia.
Apart from the band, buyers will get Michael Jackson's new album Xscape which can be streamed and downloaded via Sony Music Jive application installed on the phone.
A premium case for the Xperia Z2 has been bundled in the pack.
With companies acknowledging the importance of insurance, Sony is offering accidental damage protection for six months. Under this offer, customers will be able to claim even the physical damage.
Buyers can also download six Hollywood movies out of the 15 available, including 'Amazing Spiderman', 'MJ: This is It', 'Captain Philips', 'Elysium' and 'Total Recall'.
Unlike Samsung and other players who claim to offer apps worth Rs 5,000 or Rs 20,000 free, Sony is offering a value proposition to the customers, making the Xperia Z2 a deal worth considering.
