Top software exporter TCS on Thursday appeared unfazed by the challenges posed by its closest rival Infosys, which in recent months has made a dramatic turnaround, saying there is no uneasiness in its ranks or change in pricing strategy.

"I don't feel any uneasiness at all," TCS Chief Executive and Managing Director N Chandrasekaran said when asked about challenges from Infosys.

"We are in a market where we are doing well and we compete with many companies. Our focus is on the customers. I can't really comment on a specific company," he said.

When asked specifically about the pricing and if there will be a change in the company's pricing strategy, Chandrasekaran said, "No".

Infosys, which had been struggling for many years, called back its founder-Chairman N R Narayana Murthy from retirement last June to revive the company.

According to industry watchers, under the new leadership, the Bangalore-headquartered firm, which had been darling of the stock market and investors for a long time, is playing the game very aggressively.

Infosys beat estimates by posting a 21.4 per cent growth in the December quarter profit at Rs 2,875 crore last week.
