Tech Mahindra, country's sixth largest software exporter, on Thursday said its net profit has increased 22 per cent to Rs 338 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2012.
This is against a net profit of about Rs 275 crore in the same period last year, Tech Mahindra said in a filing to the BSE.
The company's revenue rose 19 per cent at Rs 1,543.42 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 1,292.48 crore in the April-June 2011 quarter.
Tech Mahindra added six new clients in the quarter and the total headcount stood at 40,630, the company said.
Its cash and cash equivalent stood at Rs 280 crore, while its debt was at Rs 886 crore as of June 30, 2012.
