Brokerage firm Transglobal Securities on Wednesday offloaded more than
74 lakh shares of ailing Kingfisher Airlines for about Rs 7.43 crore.
Transglobal Securities sold 74,52,261 at Rs 9.98 apiece valuing the deal at over Rs 7.44 crore, according to information available with the National Stock Exchange.
Shares of the
debt-laden airliner climbed 2.68 per cent to close at Rs 9.97 on the BSE.
On August 10, another entity LKP Merchant Financing had sold 93.6 lakh shares of the airline for over Rs 7 crore. This firm, so far this month, has offloaded shares worth Rs 20 crore.
Meanwhile, in another deal, banking major Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) on Wednesday offloaded over one lakh shares of IT company GSS Infotech, worth around Rs 62 lakh.
As per data available with stock exchanges, Royal bank of Scotland sold 142,500 scrips at Rs 43.72 apiece. This would value the transaction at Rs 62,30,100.
GSS Infotech shares shot up 3.42 per cent to end the day at Rs 40.80, up 3.42 per cent on the BSE.
