The micro-blogging site Twitter faced Monday morning blues when its services were hit by a technical glitch for a few minutes.

The timelines of twitterati around the world appeared empty at around 10.00 am indicating that the website was completely down for some time.

The glitch also affected the Twitter mobile app.

The issue was resolved later, though, many users tweeted about the issue with #TwitterDown.

Looks like Web Twitter is facing Monday Morning blues. #TwitterDown

#TwitterDown and i can post on twitter. But i cant see anything on my feed. How stupid a technical error.
