
United Spirits, the domestic liquor firm, on Monday reported a standalone net loss of Rs 55.58 crore for the three months ended June 30.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 118.13 crore during the June quarter of the previous fiscal.
Total income of the company declined by 10.97 per cent to Rs 1,923.90 crore during the reporting period, as against Rs 2,161.05 crore for the June quarter of FY14, United Spirits (USL) said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Shares of USL were trading 1.28 per cent higher, at Rs 2,406.50 per scrip, on the BSE in afternoon trade.
