
Wipro reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 2,193 crore on Friday for the third quarter ended December 31, 2014.
The software services company said its IT services revenue for the quarter under review stood at Rs 11,344 crore as against Rs 10,923 crore in Q3 of FY14.
Wipro also announced an interim dividend of Rs 5 per equity share of par value Rs 2 each to the shareholders.
The payment date for interim dividend is fixed as February 02, 2015, the IT services company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Meanwhile, Wipro CFO Suresh Senapaty announced his retirement. Jatin Dalal will succeed Senapaty as CFO with effect from April 1.
Wipro's scrip ended the day 4.40 points (or 0.79 per cent) lower at Rs 555.25 a piece on the BSE.
