
Wipro Ltd, India's third-biggest software services exporter, posted about an 8 per cent rise in quarterly profit as clients in North America and Europe spent more on technology.
Consolidated net profit for the second quarter ended September 30 came in at Rs 2085 crore ($340.4 million), up from the Rs 1932 crore it made last year.
Total revenue rose to Rs 11,816 crore from Rs 10,991 crore in the same period last year.
Shares in Wipro closed at Rs 583.65 on Wednesday in the Mumbai market.
