
Xiaomi on Thursday unveiled and announced the Mi4i at its first global smartphone launch in New Delhi. The new smartphone has been priced at Rs 12,999 and will be available on Flipkart starting April 30.
The Mi4i features a 5-inch full HD display with 441 ppi. It is powered by a 1.7Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (1.1GHz quad core + 1.7GHz quad-core) processor and is paired with 2 GB of RAM. It has 16 GB of internal storage and does not support expandable memory card. Running on Android Lollipop operating system, it has the MIUI6 onboard.
It also features a 13 MP rear camera with 4128 x 3096 pixels, autofocus, and LED flash. It has a 3,120 mAh battery with quick charge support that can charge 40 per cent battery in an hour.
Xiaomi claims that a single charge can last up to 1.5 days. The Mi4i has a unibody polycarbonate body and will be available in black, white, orange, light blue, and pink. It weights 130 gm and is 7.8 mm thick.
Xiaomi has also announced the launch of Mi Band for the Indian audience.
The fitness tracker, announced in China last year, connects to iPhone and Android smartphones. It has a 30-day battery life and IP 67 certification, making it water and dust resistant. The Mi Band has been launched for Rs 999 and will be available mi.com.
