Driven by the Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme, Apple has achieved approximately $5 billion in iPhone exports from India for the April-August period this fiscal year. This represents a growth of over 54% compared to the same period in FY24. With the production of the flagship iPhone Pro and Pro Max models beginning, iPhone export values are expected to increase further during the festive quarter and beyond. The iPhone 16 series, launching in India on September 20, will be available with attractive financing options and other offers. iPhone exports from India surged to $12.1 billion in 2023-24, doubling from $6.27 billion in 2022-23. Overall, Apple's India operations reached a value of $23.5 billion in the last fiscal year. Revenue growth in India is projected at 18% year-over-year for 2024, with the iPhone 16 series expected to further strengthen Apple's market presence and boost export figures.
