Google seems to be "accidentally" dropping hints on its next generation of Pixel Buds. Long speculated to be called the Pixel Buds A-Series, the next wireless earbuds have now been spotted in a tweet that was quickly deleted after being posted online.
A recent tweet by the official Twitter account of Android revealed the Pixel Buds A to the world. The tweet was deleted soon after being live for approximately 10 minutes on the micro-blogging platform, indicating that someone had accidentally posted it.
The post on Twitter carried a full image of the Pixel Buds A, and they looked just as the previous leaks of the device had hinted. Alongside was the claim that the wireless headphones had "arrived," hailing the headphones to have quality sound and Bluetooth pairing.
The post also mentioned the support of Android's Fast Pair feature on the Pixel Buds A that will allow Android users to pair the next wireless headphones by Google with a single tap. As per the post, the feature will be available on Android 6.0 and above.
While the name of the headphones had been hinted at before, there was no official confirmation from Google till now. However, the accidental post by Android specifically mentioned them to be Pixel Buds A, confirming the name beyond any doubt.
As for the looks, the Pixel Buds A, as shown in the image, were almost completely white, with a greyish undertone on the insides of both the buds and the case. The design and the colour tone was in line with what has been predicted for the Pixel Buds A so far.
A similar accidental leak had earlier revealed a forest green colour variant for the wireless headphones by Google. The leak was through a mail that was received by customers who had signed up for the Nest products.
The recent posting on Twitter doesn't add much to the information already available on the device, other than confirming its name. There has been no Made by Google announcement or Google Store listing for the Pixel Buds A as of now.
Google is likely to launch the wireless headphones alongside its next lineup of Pixel phones in the international market. Since the product carries the "A" marquee of Google, they are likely to be reasonably priced with several cost cuttings than the original Pixel Buds.
