
Chinese smartphone vendor Meizu has announced the launch of its next flagship smartphone, MX5 in India. The smartphone will be available exclusively on Snapdeal for Rs 19,999.
This smartphone was earlier announced in China about two months ago, and has a premium look and feel with a metal body.
The Meizu MX5 has a 5.5inch full HD display and is powered by a 2.2GHz MediaTek 64-bit octa-core processor and is paired with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded using a memory card. It runs on the company's Flyme OS 4.5, which has been built on the Android Lollipop operating system.
The Meizu MX5 packs in a 20.7MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera. The rear camera can also capture 4k videos and there is a 3150mAh battery onboard. The home button added below the display also bundles up as a fingerprint scanner. It measures 149.9x74.7x7.6mm and weighs 149 grams.
