
OnePlus has finally taken the wraps off OnePlus 2. At its first virtual reality launch, the company said the device will be launched in select countries, including India, from August 11. The OnePlus 2 64 GB will be available for Rs 24,999 exclusively on Amazon. The 16 GB OnePlus 2 with 3GB RAM will be available later this year, for which the price has not been revealed yet.
The latest smartphone from OnePlus boasts of a premium design, with a metal frame and removable back cover. It has a 5.5inch full HD display (1920x1080p resolution) and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with 4GB of RAM.

The OnePlus 2 has a 13 MP rear camera with dual flash, optical image stabilization and auto focus. It has f/2.0 aperture and 4K video shooting support too. There is a 5 MP front facing camera. The USB Type-C is present at the bottom edge, which the company claims is future proof.
The device has a few hardware changes too. There's a slider button on the left for switching between the kinds of notifications you want to receive at any particular moment. There is also a home button with fingerprint sensor that can store up to five fingerprints.
This is a dual SIM smartphone with LTE support. The new flagship from OnePlus will be available with 64GB internal storage and has a 3300 mAh battery onboard.
The OnePlus 2 runs on Oxygen OS but the company revealed that it is not based on plain vanilla Android OS and comes with some changes. With the removable back cover, OnePlus has designed four other backcovers - Bamboo, Black Apricot, Rosewood and Kevlar.
OnePlus 2 will be available through invite-only system. The company has opened registrations for the invite reservation list.
There isn't any indication about the price drop of the existing OnePlus One models.
