Lenovo launches A7000, the first smartphone with Dolby Atmos

Referred to as a mass market flagship smartphone, the A7000 has got a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 1280720 pixels resolution.

Lenovo, the Chinese electronics giant, has announced the launch of the A7000 in India. Unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the A7000 has been priced at Rs 8,999 and is the first smartphone to have Dolby Atmos sound technology on board.

Referred to as a mass market flagship smartphone, the A7000 has got a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 1280720 pixels resolution.

It is powered with a 1.5-GHz MediaTek MT6752m octa-core processor paired with 2 GB of RAM. It comes with an onboard storage of 8 GB and can be further expanded up to 32 GB. Running on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, the A7000 is a dual-SIM smartphone and comes equipped with an 8-MP auto-focus rear camera and a 5-MP fixed focus front camera.

This smartphone is 7.9 mm thin and weighs 140 gm.

The Lenovo A7000 will be available exclusively through Flipkart via flash sales. The First flash sale is scheduled for April 15.
