Micromax launches Canvas Mega, Canvas Mega 4G in India

Micromax launched two phablets in India on Thursday. Canvas Mega E353 and Canvas Mega 4G Q417 will be sold at Rs 7,999 and Rs 10,999, respectively.

The Micromax Canvas Mega E353 sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS display and will house the Mediatek MT6592M chipset which has an octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz.

The smartphone has 1GB of RAM and the will come with 8GB of internal storage, expandable via a microSD card slot. The Mega E353 has a 2,820 mAh battery.

The Micromax Canvas Mega 4G Q417 sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS display and houses the Mediatek MT6735 SoC which has an octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz.

The phone has 3GB RAM and comes with 16GB onboard storage. The phone powered by a 2,500 mAh battery is priced at Rs 10,999.

Both the phones have a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. They both run Android 5.1 Lollipop.
