
Taking on the affordable Android smartphone market, Microsoft has announced the launch of its most affordable Lumia smartphone. The Lumia 430 priced at Rs 5,299 goes on sale today.
It features a 4-inch WVGA (800480 pixels) LCD display with a pixel density of 235ppi. It is powered by a 1.2-GHz Snapdragon 200 dual-core processor and is paired with 1 GB of RAM.
It runs on Windows Phone 8.1 and will get Windows 10 update when available.
It has 8 GB of internal storage and is expandable to 128 GB. Microsoft has added a 2-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera along with a front facing VGA camera.
This is a dual SIM smartphone and connectivity options onboard include 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth. It also packs in a 1,500-mAh battery.

Microsoft Devices has also flagged off 'Knockout On Wheels', a unique van designed to take the Windows OS experience on the Lumia 430 to consumers in smaller towns across 200 cities during the next two months.
