The Galaxy Note 5 features a slimmer compact design and uses new materials. It has an ergonomic design and a curved back to make it fit comfortably in a single hand. With a 7.5-mm thin body, the Note 5 packs in a 5.7-inch Corning Gorilla Glass 4 display with 1440x2560 pixel resolution. It runs on Android Lollipop operating system with a Touch Wiz UI.
It runs on Octacore processor (2.1GHz quad core + 1.5 GHz quad core) and is paired with 4 GB of RAM. There is a 16-MP rear camera and a 5-MP front facing camera. Sensors onboard include accelerometer, proximity sensor, RGB light, Geo-magenitic, Gyro, Fingerprint, etc. It is also equipped with 3000 mAh battery with wireless charging support.
The S Pen tool has been enhanced further. Pressure sensitivity has been improved and there is an auto eject feature that pops the S Pen out. There is a new Air Command that the company claims makes it simpler to use.
