With all the major handset manufacturers launching their latest, most powerful smartphones in India, even Samsung announced the launch of its first dual core smartphone. On Wednesday, at the South West Asia, Samsung Forum scheduled in New Delhi, the company talked about the upcoming devices in the consumer durables, IT and mobile domain and launched the Galaxy S II.
Powered with a dual-core processor, the Galaxy S II will operate on Android v2.3 and will have a super AMOLED 4.3 inch display. Expected to be available in the market in May, the company indicated the MRP would be around Rs 35,000. However, as per market rumours, the market operating price will be closer to Rs 30,000.
