
Xiaomi India on Wednesday launched the 32GB variant for its 'made for India' smartphone, Mi 4i, for Rs 14,999. The smartphone was first launched with 16BG capacity in May this year for Rs 12,999.
The Xiaomi Mi 4i 32GB will feature Snapdragon 615 octa-core 64-bit processor, 2GB of RAM, 5 inch sunlight display, 4G dual-SIM (standby), a 13MP rear camera and 32GB onboard storage.
The smartphone however doesn't support any expandable memory card slot. The smartphone will run on Android Lollipop and has Mi UI6. The Mi 4i 32GB will be sold through flash sale through the company website on July 28. The company has opened registrations for the same.
Currently, company's Mi 4i 16GB variant is available for Rs 14,999. This model too has a 5inch display, a 13MP rear camera and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz processor.
The launch of the Mi 4i 32GB has just heated up the action in the under Rs 15,000 price segment as in the coming week, Motorola is expected to launch the next generation Moto G on July 28 at a press conference in New Delhi.
