
After a lot of speculation about the launch price of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, our sources have confirmed that the iPhone 6s base model will cost Rs 62,000 and the iPhone 6s Plus will start from Rs 72,000.
The iPhone 6s 16 GB will be priced at Rs 62,000, the 64GB for Rs 72,000 and 128GB for Rs 82,000. The iPhone 6s Plus 16GB will be available for Rs 72,000, 64GB for 82,000 and 128GB for Rs 92,000.
The new iPhones will be available in silver, gold, space grey and a new rose gold colour. This year too, the new iPhones will go on sale in India just before the festive season begins, starting October 16.
On Tuesday, it was reported that Apple is also tying up with carriers to offer the iPhones to its customers beginning October 16.
After Infibeam, now local retailers too have started receiving the pre-bookings for the new iPhones for as low as Rs 1,000 and the units will be made available to these customers on October 16 itself.
The new iPhones packs in a new 3D Force Touch display, a 12MP iSight camera, A9 chipset, runs on iOS 9 and second generation of fingerprint scanner.
