
Gionee, the Chinese mobile manufacturer, on Wednesday launched its latest smartphone model Elife E8 in Beijing for Rs 41,000 (approx.)
The latest device sports a 6-inch Super AMOLED display with 1440 x 2540p resolution. It runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) featuring the company's Amigo 3.1 software.
The new Elife E8 supports 24MP rear camera, which can produce images of up to 100MP resolution, Gionee claims. The front camera of this smartphone has an 8MP sensor.
Under the hood, it comes powered by a 2GHz Mediatek MT6785 octa-core processor and 3GB RAM. The device also gets 64GB onboard storage.
Along with E8, Gionee also launched another smartphone Marathon M5 having a 6,000mAh battery, which can last up to 4 days on a single charge. The handset can also be used to charge up to 2 devices simultaneously, says the company.
The Marathon M5 has a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen with 720x1280p resolution, Android Lollipop operating system, 16GB internal storage, 2GB RAM, quad-core Mediatek MT6735 chipset, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera and 4G support.
