
Chinese firm Oppo on Monday launched the Neo 5 smartphone in India at Rs 9,990.
The smartphone sports a 4.5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display which is protected by scratch-resistant Dragon trail glass.
The dual-sim device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 SoC coupled with 1GB RAM. The phone has 8GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot.
The phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat with the company's custom Color OS 2.0.1i on top.
The phone comes in two colours-white and black.
The Oppo Neo 5 has an 8 MP rear camera. There's also a 2MP front-facing camera on-board.
The 3G handset is backed by a 2,000mAh non-removable battery rated to deliver up to 180 hours of standby time on 3G, according to the company.
