Google's Nexus phones would be replaced by Android silver handsets to enhance user experience and quality.
The company is said to have been investing heavily for the promotion of these devices in wireless carrier stores and advertising, improving financial costs for marketing and development.
LG and Motorola will most likely opt for the first phones whereas Samsung, HTC and Sony might need some more reassertion.
According to The Verge, for making this unique contribution, Google would gain an upper hand and tighter control over software shipping on selected phones.
The Verge, which accessed the report, says, "The change is both expansive and expensive, as Google is said to be planning to spend heavily on promoting these devices in wireless carriers' stores and through advertising, essentially subsidizing the development and marketing costs for its hardware partners."
The company has evidently ensured that the new software would clean up third-party bloatware, make certain primarily secure software updates and create a standardised and consistent user-friendly experience across its android phones.
