It's not just Samsung and LG flooding the market with the smartphones. After the BlackBerry Torch, Research In Motion has now announced the availability of the BlackBerry Bold 9780 in India.

This new 3G smartphone runs on the latest operating system, BlackBerry 6. This non-touch smartphone has a 5.0 MP camera, 512MB Flash memory with support for expandable memory of up to 32GB, Wi-Fi, GPS for location based services and optical trackpad along with the QWERTY keypad. The BlackBerry Bold 9780 is priced at Rs 26900.

"We believe that customers will be extremely impressed with the enhanced user interface and exciting new features available with the BlackBerry 6 operating system."
The BlackBerry 6 OS include expanded messaging capability to manage social networking sites, dedicated YouTube app, redesigned music and picture applications and universal search for searching the content on the phone along with the internet.
