BlackBerry is all set to launch its
flagship smartphone , the Z30, in New Delhi on Thursday. The smartphone was announced by the company at the BlackBerry Jam in Kuala Lumpur last month will be the beleaguered Canadian smartphone maker's first phablet.
The Z30 features a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with 720x1280 pixel resolution. It will be powered by 1.7GHz dual-core processor with quad-core graphics and 2GB of RAM. With 16GB onboard storage capacity, the Z30 supports expandable memory of up to 64GB. It continues to have an 8MP camera sensor at the back with 2MP front facing camera. BlackBerry has also increase the battery to 2880mAh capacity. It runs on the company's latest software, BB 10.2, which brings a couple of new features to the tablet. The device also has Natural Sound for BBM voice and video calls.
There isn't any word on the pricing yet, but it is expected to cross the Rs 40,000 mark. This festival season the
Z30 will face stiff competition from other flagship smartphones such as Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Apple iPhone 5s, 5c, LG G2 and even Sony Xperia Z1.
