Google to suspend sale of Google Glass in present form

Google, the US-based internet giant, has said that the company will suspend the sales of Google Glass and insisted that they were committed to launching the smart glass eyewear as a consumer product but will suspend production in its present form.

Google said that it would stop taking orders for Google Glass but would continue to support companies that are using the wearable gadget.

It is expected that Google will hold a complete consumer launch of the product.

The programme was launched in the United States in 2013 and was then launched in the UK in the summer of 2014, reported BBC.
