iPad 2 launched in India, from Rs 29,500

After Apple Inc was criticized for having launched the iPad in India only this January, the company has decided to give India better treatment this time. On Friday,

The iPad 2 comes with a new design that is 33 per cent thinner and up to 156 per cent lighter than the original. It has a 9.7-inch LED-backlit LCD display. Powered by Apple's new dual-Core 5 processor for fast operation and stunning graphics, iPad will now have two cameras: a front-facing VGA for FaceTime and one at the rear for capturing HD videos. With a 10-hour battery backup, the tablet will be available in both the Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 3G versions.
Apple has decided to price the iPad 2 fairly.
