iPad3 set for a launch in Feb 2012, Google may pitch its own tablet to compete

Apple iPad 3 reportedly to be launched by February next year is pitched as a competitor to Google tablet, which according to reports is set for launch within six months.

Google after competing with Apple in smart phone segment seems to take on Apple in tablet market as well. There have been numerous others who have tried to pose a threat to Apple in the tablet market. Samsung launched its Galaxy Tab, so did BlackBerry manufacturers RIM that launched its Playbook and not to forget Motorola's tablet that went into oblivion in some time after its launch.

Apple is preparing to launch iPad 3 as early as February 24th, on the birth anniversary of its founder and iconic visionary Steve Jobs. However, it may actually release the tablet in the market in March.

Reports suggest that the new tablet is going to be much more improved than the current iPad 2. Others suggest that the tablet may come loaded with a quad-core processor as well and is expected to become far thinner and lighter.
