Apple's
much-awaited iPhone 5 will make its debut in
Indian retail stores on November 2, but the company has not
disclosed at what price the phone would be available.
Apple's authorised distributors Ingram Micro and Redington India will start supplying iPhone 5 from November 2 to retailers.
Ingram Micro in a statement said "it will offer iPhone 5 at leading modern trade stores and retail outlets across India beginning Friday, November 2".
However, neither Ingram Micro nor Redington India revealed the price of iPhone 5 in India .
According to Ingram Micro spokesperson, iPhone 5 will be launched in 40 cities in India.
iPhone 5 measures 7.6 millimetres thin and weighs 112 grams which is 18 per cent thinner and 20 per cent lighter than iPhone 4S.
This new version of iPhone 5 has 4-inch display.
This new phone is built on A6 chip, which Apple says, is up to twice as fast compared with the A5 chip that were available in previous version of phone.
