Is Apple planning low-cost iPhone 5C launch with iPhone 5S?

Is Apple planning on releasing the iPhone 5S earlier than the previous models? Yes, if a report by Huffington Post is to be believed.

Is a low-cost iPhone model expected to hit stores simlutaneously with the flagship model? Yes, if you go by the months of speculation in the tech space about the new phone's specs and leaked photos.

According to the Post's report, a German blog 'iFun' has 'revealed' that Apple will launch the latest version of its iPhone on September 6.

Although, there hasn't been any confirmation regarding the matter from the tech major's side, the blog stated that 'two new device types' are expected, referring to the varied screen sizes.

While it has been speculated that the 5S' launch was delayed because of the manufacturer's decision to shift to bigger screen sizes compared to the current 4-inch display, a photo showing packaging of the upcoming handsets has been posted on Chinese forum WeiPhone and labelled iPhone 5C.

According to tech blog BGR, the iPhone 5C is expected to be released in blue, green and yellow colours. The  post even goes on to add an update about the leaked pictures of the device, saying it is likely they are fake.
