Mark Zuckerberg, Chairman and CEO of Facebook, interacted with students and faculty of IIT Delhi in a town-hall meeting at the institute's campus on Wednesday, and said that Facebook won't be able to achieve its mission of connecting the world without connecting India. "We have the second biggest community in India and we want the next billion to come online," he said.

The Facebook chief answered questions that were posted on his profile ahead of the schedule as well as pre-screened questions from IIT students.

He discussed a wide range of topics including the importance of India for his company and net neutrality.

Zuckerberg said Facebook supports net neutrality and the company is lobbying for net neutrality across the world and continuing to work for providing access to people as well. To emphasise his point, he added that people who are pushing with the petitions already have access to the internet and people who don't have internet can't sign an online petition asking for access.

A student also questioned Zuckerberg on how to stop getting Candy Crush requests, to which he answered that the company was working on a solution.

When asked about his visit to the Taj Mahal on Tuesday and how his experience was, he answered that visiting Taj was even more awesome than the pictures.

Zuckerberg had on Tuesday posted a picture of Taj Mahal on Facebook saying "It is even more stunning than I expected. It's incredible what people can build - and what love can motivate us to build."

This is Zuckerberg's second visit to India.
