It's official. The
new iPad will be available in India from April 27. The new
iPad Wi-Fi models will be available at select Apple reseller in black or white for a suggested retail price of Rs 30,500 for the 16GB model, Rs 36,500 for the 32GB model and Rs 42,500 for the 64GB model (all prices including VAT).
The iPad Wi-Fi + 4G models will be available for a suggested retail price of Rs 38,900 inc for 16GB, Rs 44,900 for 32GB and Rs 50,900 for the 64GB model, again including VAT.
Additionally, iPad 2 is available at cheaper prices starting Rs 24,500 including VAT.
The new iPad features a new Retina display,
Apple's new A5X chip with quad-core graphics and a five megapixel iSight camera. The new iPad will still have a 10-hour battery life.
Apple will start selling the new iPad in 11 other countries as part of this wave starting April 20.
