Nearly 10 million units of
Samsung Galaxy S3 have been sold in less than two months since its launch, South Korean new agency Yonhap reported, quoting a senior executive of Samsung.
Samsung Galaxy S3 was first unveiled on May 29 in London.
Galaxy S2, the predecessor of Samsung Galaxy S3, took nearly five months to reach the 10 million sales figure after its launch.
Samsung Galaxy S3 is expected to strong sales in the third quarter as well with Apple not expected not to launch its next version of iPhone until September or October.
For the full year, Samsung expects to sell around 40 million units of Samsung Galaxy S III, the report said.
