Sony is all set to flood the market with smartphones running on dual-core processors. After the announcement of the Sony
Xperia P and Sony Xperia U, the company has now unveiled the Xperia Sola.
Yet again an Android power smartphone on v2.3, upgradable to Android 4.0, the sola is powered by a 1GHz dual core processor. Interestingly, it debuts Sony's unique floating touch that lets user to navigate the web by hovering the finger over the screen, just the way it acts like a cursor.
Tapping the desired link loads the page. This smartphone is also NFC enabled and two NFC Xperia SmartTags come in the box, of which one can be used to launch a pre-configured profile in the smartphone.
The two SmartTags can be personalized with up to 10 commands. Lastly, the 3.7 inch display powered by Bravia Engine will have sharp and clear screen, xLOUD and 3D surround sound audio technology delivering crisp and loud sound, and a 1GHz dual-core processor for faster performance.
