Xiaomi India has announced a Rs 2,000 cut in the price of its Redmi Note 4G variant. The company has said that the phablet, which was earlier available for Rs 9,999, will now be available for Rs 7,999 starting Tuesday.
According to a press note shared by the company, "Now, lower costs have enabled us to reduce the price of Redmi Note 4G, and this translates into savings that Mi fans can enjoy."
The Redmi Note 4G has a 5.5inch HD IPS Display and is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and has 2GB of RAM. It has 8GB of internal storage and supports up to 64GB of expandable memory. It has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The phone packs in 3,100mAh battery.
The Redmi Note 4G went on sale late last year through the flash sale model on Flipkart. Later, the company tied up with Airtel and other offline retail partners. It can now be purchased online from Mi.com, Flipkart, Amazon, Snapdeal, Airtel Stores and The Mobile Store in offline retail.
