There have been many look-alikes of the Samsung Galaxy SIII, coming from players like
Micromax and Lava. But the one we are holding in our hand, comes from Samsung itself.
Yes, the
Galaxy Grand Duos has the same curved edge design as of the Galaxy SIII. With the 5-inch capacitive touch display dominating the front, the Grand Duos is Samsung's mid-segment phablet. The Touch Wiz user interface and the default wallpaper onboard pushes make it even a better SIII clone.
While checking out the device, we also spotted multi-window, Pop-up play, Smart Stay, S Voice and gesture features as on the high-end smartphones. There is a 2MP front facing camera along with an 8MP rear camera onboard. Above all, there are two SIM slots, both GSM, hidden beneath the back panel. It also has Android Jelly Bean operating system onboard along with a dual-core processor and a 2100 mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos is priced at Rs 21,500.
