
Motorola is all set to disrupt the foldable market with the Razr 40 Ultra. Ahead of the launch, the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra has been listed on Amazon. Along with the design of the smartphone, the specifications of the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra has also been revealed on the website.Notably, the foldable Android phone will be the third phone by Motorola to feature a clamshell design. Motorola had previously launched theMoto Razr foldable phone in 2020 and then again in 2021. However, this time Motorola has worked extensively on the design of the smartphone and it looks nothing like its predecessor.
Motorola recently launched the Motorola Razr 40 and 40 Ultra in China. Following this release, the company has revealed its plans to bring the Razr 40 Ultra to the Indian market. To provide interested customers with more details about the device, Motorola has created a dedicated microsite on Amazon, where they have shared the official specifications of the phone's latest version.
The Razr 40 Ultra, as described on the microsite, will feature the "world's largest" cover display and claim to be the thinnest flip smartphone ever created. The secondary display of the smartphone will measure 3.6 inches and feature pOLED display technology with a high refresh rate of 144Hz and a resolution of 1056×1066. Additionally, the screen will be safeguarded by Gorilla Glass Victus for enhanced durability.
The outer panel of the Razr 40 Ultra will offer customizable shortcuts and support for various applications. The released photographs on Amazon indicate the presence of music controls, Google Maps navigation, app notifications, a weather widget, and other features on this screen.
On the inside, the device will boast a spacious 6.9-inch LTPO screen featuring an impressive refresh rate of 165Hz. This display is capable of producing over one billion colors and achieving a peak brightness of up to 1400 nits. It will also be HDR 10+ compliant and certified by SGS Eye Protection, ensuring a visually pleasing and eye-friendly viewing experience.
Motorola promises a premium "touch and feel" experience with the Razr 40 Ultra, emphasizing its high-quality construction and materials. However, specific details about the device's complete specifications are set to be unveiled on June 22, according to the Amazon product page.
Meanwhile, the Chinese variant of the phone is equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU and features a dual camera setup on the rear, comprising a 12MP primary sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide sensor that can also serve as a macro lens. It is expected that the Indian version of the device will be priced below Rs 80,000.
