
Nothing Phone (2) has been launched in India and the global market. The base model of the Nothing Phone (1) successor comes with 8GB RAM + 128GB memory, while the top-end model comes with 12GB RAM + 512GB of internal storage. The Phone (2) will be available on Flipkart for purchase.
Succeeding the Phone (1), the Phone (2) brings some sensible upgrades in the design and some major upgrades on the hardware front. With the launch of the Phone (2), Nothing is aiming to target the premium segment while the last year's Phone (1) will focus on customers with slightly tight budget. Currently, the Phone (1) is available at around Rs 30,000 in India while the Phone (2) crosses the Rs 40,000 mark. Let's take a look at Nothing Phone (2) variants and pricing.
Nothing Phone (2) has been launched in three variants: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage. As for the price: the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model comes at Rs 44,999, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model comes at Rs 49,999, and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage at Rs 54,999.
Nothing Phone (2) will go on open sale in India on Friday, July 21, 12 PM onwards via Flipkart and select retail outlets.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the Nothing Phone (2) is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor coupled with up to 12GB RAM + 512GB of internal storage. On the software side, the phone runs on the new NothingOS 2.0 based on Android 13 OS.
The Phone (2) comes packed with a 6.7-inch display with a resolution of 1080×2412 and up to 120Hz refresh rate. There is said to be an optical in-display fingerprint sensor as well, which performs quite well. Coming to the cameras, the Nothing Phone (2) includes a dual camera setup including a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor + 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 sensor along with better tuning and camera features. On the front, the Phone (2) includes a 32-megapixel selfie camera based on the Sony IMX615 sensor.
The Phone (2) is an upgrade even in terms of battery life. It comes packed with a larger battery capacity when compared to the Phone (1). It is backed by a 4700mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging and a USB Type C port. The retail box comes with a transparent Nothing branded cable, a SIM ejector tool, and the phone. There's no charging brick in the box.
