SUMMARY
  • Squid Game is coming to another game called Silly World.
  • Silly World is an online multiplayer from a Pune-based studio.
  • There is no word on when Silly World will be released.

Squid Game is all the rage right now. From an Instagram filter that lets you play the Red Light, Green Light game to the Joker malware-infected Android app, it is everywhere. So, when an Indian studio decided to bring a game that would be based on the Netflix show, it certainly knew how to strike the right chord in the players. Silly World is a new game from SuperGaming, a Pune-based developer, and it will bring the Squid Royale Games, based on the Red Light, Green Light game.

Silly World has already received over 300,000 pre-registrations for the Squid Royale Games, the company announced on Twitter. This just shows how the hit Netflix show is still growing in popularity. Squid Game has already been watched by over 142 million viewers worldwide, according to Netflix data, so its adaptation into different categories only makes sense. Red Light, Green Light is the first and most famous game that the participants had to play, and that is also what Silly World's new mode is about.

On the poster, there is a special business card with the signature shapes of a circle, triangle, and rectangle held by two guards that are dressed just like the ones in Squid Game. There is, however, no information on how this mode will work or what sort of a game it will be. The developers have not said a word about those things and have not even announced a launch date for the game yet, but it is coming to both Android and iOS. It is also possible that other games from Squid Game, such as Tug of War and Dalgona Cookie, will make their way to Silly World.

Silly World currently features three modes: Jailbreak, Hide N Seek, and Murder Mystery. Each mode supports up to 12 players at once and they all can have customisable Silly avatars. The Hide N Seek looks very similar to Among Us but has a peppier format where you are either a Silly or a Devil. The game even has voice chat and emoticons, so you stay better connected with your teammates. So, it is possible that the upcoming Squid Royale Games mode will also have these features. However, a release date is not confirmed as of now.

Squid Games recently made its way to Garena Free Fire, where the makers introduced a mode that allowed players to participate in a game inspired by Red Light, Green Light. Garena Free Fire's new mode is available to play on both Android and iOS.
