Vivo X100 series is all set to be launched in India. The smartphone company will unveil the Vivo X100 and the Vivo X100 Pro. The Vivo X100 series was already unveiled in China, so the specifications are already known to us. The Vivo X100 and the X100 Pro are powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 9300 coupled with 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Like previous year, the Vivo X100 is also a camera-focused smartphone series.
Vivo X100 series will be livestreamed on the official YouTube handle of Vivo, along with the other social media handles of the company. The livestream will begin at 12 PM.
A leak from last year suggested potential pricing for the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro in India. It hinted at the X100 being priced at Rs 63,999 for the 12 GB RAM/256 GB variant and Rs 69,999 for the 16 GB RAM/512 GB model. The X100 Pro, likely with 16 GB RAM/512 GB storage, could cost Rs 89,999. However, these figures represent the Minimum Order Price (MOP) for retailers, indicating the potential for higher Maximum Retail Price (MRP) due to profit margins.
The Vivo X100 series, powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, offers varying RAM and storage configurations. The X100 may feature 12GB RAM/256GB or 16GB RAM/512GB, while the X100 Pro might come solely with 16GB RAM/512GB.
Both models are expected to sport a 6.78-inch 8T LTPO AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and 3,000 nits brightness.
Regarding cameras, both phones will house a triple-camera setup. The X100 Pro includes a 50MP primary camera, a periscope 100mm zoom lens, and a 50MP ultrawide lens powered by Vivo's custom 6nm V3 imaging chip. In contrast, the X100 offers a 50MP wide-angle lens, a 70mm zoom lens with a 64MP sensor, and a 15mm ultrawide lens, powered by the V2 imaging chip used in the X90 Pro. Both phones feature a 32MP front camera for selfies.
In terms of battery, the X100 packs a 5,000 mAh battery, while the X100 Pro houses a larger 5,400 mAh battery. The X100 supports up to 120W fast charging, whereas the X100 Pro offers 100W fast charging.
These specifications hint at the potential performance and features of the Vivo X100 series, although the final pricing and detailed specs might differ upon official release.
