The challenge of Udan

Government is ready for the second round of Udan scheme. The Udan scheme was launched earlier this year where the plan was to make flights affordable for everyone. Under the scheme, the fares for one hour flights were capped at Rs 2500. Surprisingly, around 17 airlines have shown interest in the scheme this time compared to only 5 airlines last time.
